I've been spending the last
I've been spending the last few weeks doing research about Iraq, for a project that may indeed see me visiting the war-torn country. This article from the New Yorker confirms what I have had to deal with , (at least with the CPA). In my opinion, it should be required reading for all American citizens.
Everything must go through the CPA which is a black void from which nothing comes out with. Those running the regional office are racing frantically to come up with quick wins to win "hearts and minds" & are ignoring long term solutions. But with the UN out of the country and no one aside from the CPA with Internet access, it seems we are reliant on this hodge podge of an occupational force.
